Day Off

After working for 2 months straight including every weekend day, Christmas, New Year's, and even while I was in the mountains, I decided I deserved a day off.  So yesterday I did just that.  And it was glorious!!  Is this what it's like to not feel like a burnt out, frustrated, stressed ball of nerves?

TheHubs was also off, so we declared it "TheHubs and A Preppy Girl's Day of Fun."

• Started by sleeping in until 7:15.  Ahhh, joyous sleep!
• Headed to an OB appt where we were able to hear TheBaby's heartbeat.  It still is my favorite sound ever.  TheBaby is healthy and on track.  Check!
• Off to shopping we went!  Stopped by a few chain stores to get some things for TheBaby's room and then to the outlets.  Shopping while pregnant is interesting.  I don't even bother going in clothing stores, but we did cross every female in my family's birthday present for 2014 off the list.  Giant score!  We also picked up some Barefoot Contessa-eque wine glasses for a steal at Restoration Hardware.
• Came home and took the pups for a long deserved walk.
• Read for a solid hour.
• Dinner out at a new/hip neighborhood restaurant and had the best dessert in recent memory.  Yum.
• TV/more reading/sleep.

I want to relive it over and over.  It was just that awesome.  And now it's Thursday, so only 2 more work days to go!  Yeah baby!  

In case you're living under a rock, Sunday is the day the Broncos will win the Super Bowl.  So there's always that to look forward to. :)
